In the Land of The Sleeping Giants

There are many Sleeping Giants on Table Mountain and quite a few, as shown below, on the East side.

Can you see any Sleeping Giants in the pictures below?

Fernwood and Protea buttresses in full sun showing their craggy outcrops, undulating sedimentary layers and patches of pale green foliage partly covering the rock face.

This picture is the same as the picture above but with a pale green graphic overlay showing the position of a huge face made out of shapes and colouration shades that already exist on the flat "Sleeping Giant" face of Fernwood buttress.

Panoramic view on bright sunny day showing the east side of Table Mountain in the distance under pale blue sky and the evergreen Newlands forest at the mountain base.

This picture is the same as the one above but with a pale green graphic overlay showing the position of a "Sleeping Giant" with a helmet on his head, that might be a crawn, resting at full stretch made out of rock shapes and colouration shades that already exist on the sloping ridge of Erica buttress.

Erica and Els buttresses appear almost to be laying back basking in warm yellow morning sun with evergreen Newlands forest rising up from the valley below the mountain.

This picture is the same as the one above but with a pale green graphic overlay showing the position of a "Sleeping Giant" with a wart on his nose and a hand resting on a big belly made out of rock shapes and colouration shades that already exist on the sloping ridge of Els.

This picture is the same as the picture above but with a red outline graphic overlay showing the position of a huge face and head made out of the boulder shapes and colouration shades that already exist on the Window buttress.
